The EDI Difference
Midwest work ethic. Milwaukee nice. Global perspective. These traits are what clients can expect when they choose EDI to manage their associations. From the way we treat our clients to the way we treat each other, we always promote a culture of quality, teamwork and respect.
Personal Touch
EDI is designed from the bottom up to give each client the personal attention it needs to thrive. This philosophy starts with our receptionists who answer each call with the name of the appropriate association, and it continues through to our dedicated client teams and our in-house support service departments that get to know the individual needs of each association.
We recognize the impact that each of our clients has for its members, regardless of size, and work hard to customize our services to meet the needs of each client.
Doing Good
The collaborative, client-first environment fostered by EDI allows our staff teams to achieve client goals and live their missions. Through their organizational activities, meetings and conferences, education and research, and more, many of the client associations managed by EDI have been at the forefront of important breakthroughs and critical advances in their respective fields. The proof is in the results: we do good for great organizations.
Staff Development
EDI is strongly committed to helping our employees learn and grow by keeping them educated on the latest trends and engaged professionally.
We are proud to be an AMC with many client teams that include staff in similar roles, bringing together a wide range of perspectives and experiences from each field. We have incorporated this kind of collaboration into EDI’s structure by creating communities of practice in eight different disciplines. These communities provide an open space for our employees to come together, share ideas and experiences, and produce products of value to all of our clients.
We are also dedicated to continuing education for our staff. We host educational sessions, support memberships in professional societies, and send staff to workshops and conferences to develop their skills as professionals.
EDI’s unique structure, based around dedicated client teams, allows for many leadership opportunities for our staff. We make the most of our pool of talent by promoting from within for many of our senior positions.
Community and Outreach
We recognize the value of community within and outside of the office. We use staff-driven committees to organize employee social events, annual fundraisers, and wellness programs that build relationships among employees, improve teamwork, as well as regularly giving back to Milwaukee in many ways.
